Game: Stop dance (Ask question and if the kids answer the question correctly they can throw the ball on the bin, they should be able to give the right colour of each ball )

Activité(s) pour s’approprier le vocabulaire :

1. Presentation:  Play the dialogue all the way through.  First part of the unit is at normal speed without spaces for repetition

2. Vocabulary: a ball, a horse, a hall, four, a chair, a cupboard,

3. Explanation: Go back to the beginning and play it through again, this time stop after each sentence to explain and demonstrate.  Make sure the children point the relevant part of the picture.

1. Grammar structure:  but, under, Where is the lamp? it’s on/in/next to/behind/under

2. Repetitionon: Play on the second part of the unit and work on the collective and individual repetition phases as usual make it into a game

3. Memorisation: Rehearse the dialogue until the children know it off by heart.  Find the sentence from the picture.

1.  GAME   Where is it? This is a repeat of the game nunber 2 in unit 9 but this time we add new preposition UNDER;  After 3 questions it’s another players

3. Language aquired: easy, a calendar, cardboard, a piece, sofa, butter, rubber, calendar

1. Repetition: Play on the second part of the unit and work the individual and collective repetition phrases as usual.  There are a lot of new words, do not accept any faulty pronunciation as this will only get worse when they start to read

2.  Explanation: Calendar use English calendar show the date, months, and dates which are printed on the piece of red, white, and blue paper

3. Memorisation:  Find the sentences.  Rehearse the dialogues until the children can handle the words and sentences and will be able to use themfor making their own calendar..

GAME:  To compose the birthday calendar of all the mini school kids (months, days, dates and the weather.
