1. Presentation: Cover the text during the two first listening(first with eyes close, second looking at the pictures) so that children on the pictures and not the words for the moment then play it again.

2. Explanation: Go back to the beginning of the dialogue and help the children to understand less of the less obvious ideas such as to lose something,

 3. Repetition/Memorisation: Find the action and act out the scene using the whole of the dialogue

2. Presentation: Play the dialogue all the way through .  Play the first part of the unit which is at the normal speed without the spaces for the repetition

3. Explanation/ repetition: For my hanky , show the handkerchief.  For can you see it? Point to your eyes, then point to the child and say ‘ I can see Peter .  Play on the second part and work on collective

1. Approach to culture: talk about the Queen of England ask children if they know where the country of the queen

2. Active language : vocabulary revision, place 4 or 5 pictures side by side on the floor or on the table top ask the children to look carefully and try to remember the pictures. Then, they must close their eyes to remove one of the pictures and ask the children what is missing

3. Colour memory: use the colour memory cards for this game choose 4 or 5 only

1. Presentation: Play the CD and let the children look at the poster quietly no comments

2. Explanation: use two books one with 2 colours and 1 with only 1 colour and say this book is all red that one is red and blue.  For cold must mime shivering.

3.Repetion and memorisation : Have the children repeat the whole text by using the second version of the dialogue on the CD.  Make sure that all children repeat collectively before inviting  individuals to do so.  Try to make the repetition fun by using puppets, or a ball.
