Sweet Circus

1.       Warm up : Song Hppy and you know it at head and shoulders knees and toes

2.       Chat in french and tell them that we had a phone call from Mr Colourful he is waiting at the circus.  Asked them if they would like to travel by helicopter, Taxi, Car, Train, plane, etc.  Showing them flashcards of different transport.

Activité(s) pour s’approprier le vocabulaire :

1. Mr Colourful touches each child in turn with the magic wand and tells them that they are clowns.  When everybody feeling a little tired, Mr Colourful brings out the balls and let the children throw and catch

2. Vocabulary: yawn, sneeze, make faces, stick your tongue

3. Language aquired: out, throw, catch, what have I got?

1. Presentation:  Play the dialogue all the way through at unit 6 My name is Jimmy

2. Vocabulary: a woman, a room, a wood, a book

3. Explanation: Go back to the beginning and play it through again, this time stop after each sentence to explain an demonstrate

Activité(s) pour s’approprier la structure :

1. Grammar structure:  phrases using It’s and It isn’t It isn’t your picture, Its my picture

2. Repetitionon: Play on the second part of the unit and work on the collective and individual repetition phases as usual

3. Memorisation: Find the sentence first from the poster and then do an improvised version using the four Jimmy’s cards from this unit.

1.  GAME  (PLAY ACTING) This is the first dialogue which really lends itself to play acting. To plau Daisy’s role and John’s role in the unit

1. Repetition: Play on the second part of the unit and work the individual and collective repetition phrases as usual

2.  Explanation: Watching the race, running fast mime with fast movement. Catching up show the sequence of the picuture

3. Memorisation:  Find the sentences.  Rehearse the dialogues until the children know it off by heart.
